Peanut Butter Granola Bars -Your Way



Ingredients:

3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

3/4 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter

1/3 cup honey

2 eggs

Optional: 1/2 cup - dried fruit, chocolate chips, flax seeds, chia seeds, almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.




Directions: yield 20 squares


-Preheat oven to 350 F degrees

-Warm peanut butter on stove top or in microwave to smooth it (do not make it too hot)

-Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well

-Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 9 inch baking pan

-Pat mixture down for a smooth finish

-Bake for 10-12 minutes

*It should look a little under baked when you take it out. If over baked, the bars will crumble

-Let cool, then cut into 20 squares

-Enjoy!
